We took a vacation.
It was glorious.
We spent ten days at the beach with no agenda other than digging our toes in the sand, jumping through waves, swimming, riding bikes, napping, and eating lots of good food. We learned new things – Solly learned to kiss (with his mouth closed), sister Bea learned how to say “ok!”, and our new puppy, Ziggy, learned how sweet beach life can be.
Other than our usual daily stretches and some walking in the gait trainer, we did absolutely no therapy. It was wonderful and the reset that we – especially Solly – very much needed. Now we’re back at home, back to business (ahem, therapy and doctors appointments with some fun sprinkled in), and ready to kick some butt in the second half of 2018.
