Inchstone Alert: Smoochin’

When you have a child who may never speak, one of the things that you worry about and grieve is never hearing that child say: “I love you.”

Fortunately, for us, Solly is a pretty affectionate kiddo. He’s always been a snuggler and gives a mean hug, complete with a pat on the back. (His hug – or as he calls them “huggins” – melts my heart every time I get one.) Over the weekend, he started showing his affection in a new way: with a big ol’ smooch.

As you can see, we’re still working on getting those lips to pucker up, but as far as inchstones go, I’m adding kissing to his list of accomplishments!
